Teeth Agency is a collaboration between artist Mariano Chavez and musician Jesse Hackett, a touring member of Gorillaz. Hackett and Chavez describe their music as, "lizard lounge jazz and French noir sleaze with sinking ship piano improvisations in underwater organ suits." The project weaves sound and vision, creating an idiosyncratic art form. Out House is the first instalment by Teeth Agency, described as a "Music-Book-Art-Object", the book is a catalogue that visually translates the music via personal notes, drawings, computer renderings and a back and forth exchange between Hackett and Chavezgalactic. Their new single 'Anon' sees a swirl of synthesisers, paired with a bass line and brass that leave a faint whisper of afro-beat. The sweep of reverb vocals, stacked in harmony repeat 'who rode from a higher place'. Created by Mariano Chavez of Teeth Agency and Diamond McNabb, the visuals are a computer animation, showing two rocks colliding, over a striped monochrome sea.
